MEETING YOUR HOUSE CALL DOCTOR
Dr. Anderson & Associates will call you to schedule your first home doctor’s
appointment, and call you again the day before to confirm it. It’s a very good idea to have a relative, friend, neighbor
or someone you trust with you the first time you meet your House Call Doctor. Not only will it help you to feel more comfortable,
but also he or she can help you verify your doctor’s identification, and fill out the initial paperwork.
• Remember, there is no additional cost to you above your
current Medicare deductibles or co-payment, if you decide
to take advantage of this service.
• Your House Call Doctor will then give you an examination,
go over all of your medications, review your medical
history, and discuss a treatment plan with you. He or she
will then share what you discussed with your
Office
Doctor,
so everyone is up to
date on your care.
• Don’t feel rushed. Your House Call Doctor
will spend as
much time as you need to get to know you, talk
about your
health and answer your
questions.
A typical house call
from a doctor lasts 30
minutes to an hour.
• Anytime you do not feel well, call Dr. Anderson
&
Associates Call Doctor right
away – 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. Even if it’s the middle of the night.
