We know that
going to the emergency room or hospital when you get sick isn’t easy on you. Nor is seeing your office doctor when it may be difficult to find a ride,
or even leave your home. So, Dr. Anderson & Associates Health Care Program for
UAW Retirees has brought back doctor house calls for chronically ill Medicare beneficiaries with its Personal Visiting
Physician service.
Here’s
how it works:
• All of your Medicare
benefits stay the same.
• You will have
access to a board-certified doctor who will
visit you regularly and come to your home anytime he or
she is needed. This helps you prevent unnecessary
emergency room visits and hospital stays.
• Your House Call Doctor regularly
communicates with your
Office Doctor about your health, including updates after
each visit. And you can still see your Office Doctor as often
as you like.
• Doctor house calls are at no additional cost above your
original Medicare
plan
deductibles or co-payment.
This is NOT a managed care or HMO program.
And it’s different than other home healthcare programs. With Dr. Anderson & Associates, a qualified, dedicated doctor
comes directly to your home. This helps keep you out of the emergency roomor hospital, saves you money, and keeps you healthier.
