Dr. Anderson & Associates

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why doctor house calls?

We know that chronically ill and elderly patients often have trouble getting to their doctor’s office. They often need care outside of a doctor’s normal office hours, and end up needlessly going to the emergency room or a hospital stay.

How does Dr. Anderson & Associates give me better care?

Early treatment is the key to getting better faster. Dr. Anderson & Associates provides round-the-clock access to a doctor’s care in your home anytime you need. That helps keep you out of the emergency room and hospital, and allows you to get the care you need as soon as you start to feel sick.

Does Dr. Anderson & Associates House Call Doctor replace

my Office Doctor?

No. Think of your House Call Doctor as a supplement to your Office Doctor. Dr. Anderson & Associates will keep your Office Doctor updated on your treatment regularly. And you can still see your Office Doctor anytime you want.

How do I reach Dr. Anderson & Associates?

The first time, Dr. Anderson & Associates will call you to make the appointment. Then, you will receive your House Call Doctor’s cell phone number, as well as the number for your Personal Care Advocate Nurse.

How often will I see my House Call Doctor?

As often as you need it. And be sure to call him or her anytime you feel ill, even if it’s the middle of the night. Early care and treatment can help you get better, faster.

What can my House Call Doctor do for me?

Your House Call Doctor can see you in your home to help you avoid unnecessary visits to the emergency room or hospital. He or she will discuss treatment options with you and your Office Doctor, and help you reduce your medical costs. And that’s just the beginning.

How much does all this cost?

There is no additional cost to you for your House Call Doctor visits other than your current Medicare deductibles and co-payment. All your other Medicare benefits remain the same.

This is NOT a managed care or HMO program and it is NOT a new insurance program.
